Come to McMullen Gallery to have a hands-on experience making your own Felt Nest/Bowl. Felting is one of the first know textiles to be created by humans. This workshop will introduce you to the process of felting wool. Join us to create your very own little bowl!

Be inspired by all of the nests in "21st Century Nesting Practices" while having your own tactile experience with textiles. This drop-in workshop is FREE, and everyone is welcome.

About the instructor:
Lesley Stafiniak is a fibre artist and design educator who offers the opportunity for everyone to experience age old traditions of textile creation and design. She has studied the design process of many fibre artists both experienced and novice.
