A new exhibit is in McMullen Gallery. Photovoice is a grassroots approach in which healthcare workers use cameras to photograph their everyday experiences and work realities. Researchers invited University of Alberta Hospital healthcare workers to participate in taking their own photographs and writing an accompanying narrative. Then our Artists on the Wards put the submitted healthcare worker’s information in an artistically interpreted format, providing a platform for their individual voice to be hard and seen.
